Alterra Mountain Group Announces Ikon Pass AT SIA SNow Show

The newly formed Alterra Mountain Group announced the new Ikon Pass at the opening of the new SIA Snow Show in Denver this past week. The newly formed company has been busy acquiring properties and building partnerships to round out the season pass offering. New resort acquisitions continue to up the ante in the season pass battles.

new standard in season passes. 

Details on pricing and utilization is still forthcoming. Resorts include Aspen, Snowmass, Steamboat, Copper Mountain, Eldora, Winter Park,Stratton, Killington, Snowshoe, Tremblant, Blue Mountain, Loon Mountain, Sunday River, Sugarloaf, Big Sky,Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, Mammoth Mountain, Big Bear, June Mountain, Jackson Hole, Alta, Snowbird, Deer Valley, CMH. 

Alterra Mountain Company, headquartered in Denver, Colorado is comprised of 12 destinations, including the world’s largest heli-skiing operation. Alterra Mountain 
Company was created when affiliates of KSL Capital Partners, owners of Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, and Henry Crown and Company purchased Intrawest, Mammoth Resorts, 
and Deer Valley Resort in 2017.
