Free Ski Day at Purgatory This Sunday

The new ownership group at Purgatory Resort in Durango,CO, has announced Free lift tickets this Sunday, April 12, 2015 as a thank you to the locals. Just last week it was announced the resort ownership group would be replacing the old Chair 8 with a new detachable quad this summer.

The regular daily operations of the resort ended last weekend but it was announced one last weekend the area would open with special lift ticket promotions. Specials include 2 lift tickets for $50 on Saturday and the free ticket promotion. All Purgatory season passes, including midweek passes are valid this bonus weekend.

The snow sure has started to turn on here in Colorado and other parts of the country. I just left Breckenridge and Summit County Colorado this afternoon and it was snowing county wide with forecast for snow throughout the week.
