From the covered bridges of Vermont to the lobster laden waters of the Maine coast, this tour will ramble through some of the oldest established villages of the country for a gorgeous extended cycling trip. On this brand new tour we will meander through the Green Mountains of Vermont, visit Lake Placid - site of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics in the heart of the Adirondacks, cross the beautiful Lake Champlain, kiss the Canadian border of French Quebec, revel in the peaks and notches of New Hampshire's White Mountains, enjoy a layover day in Wolfeboro on Lake Winnipesaukee, and follow the twisty Maine coastline to out of the way light houses and local fishing villages.  Every day we'll be treated to wonderful cycling, great food, unique experiences, and the warmth of New England hospitality.

This tour can be booked for its entire 20 days or choose just one half for your New England Experience.

Magic Mountain Summer events and Lift Ticket Discounts for 2012.13

The summer activity continues to pick up at Magic Mountain in Central Vermont. In addition to being a great ski area in winter Magic Mountain is also becoming a premier music venue this summer. Already we have seen the Frendly Gathering come to the back side of Magic at Timber Ridge. The Independence celebration featured the Battenkillers and The Butties made their annual sojourn to Magic
on July 14th. The outdoor expanse for larger shows and the intimacy and stage of the Black Line Brew Pub indoors make Magic an exciting new southern Vermont venue for local and regional bands.

Now, the Black Line Brew Pub works hard to bring bands every Friday and Saturday night–almost always with no cover charge! Most recently, it was announced that Tri-Valley Productions will move their Getdown Music Festival from New Hampshire to Magic Mountain and re-name it the Green Mountain Getdown Music Festival. This is a two-day event beginning Friday August 17th at 5pm and going to Saturday August 18th at midnight. There will be at least 12 bands, playing both outside during the day and evening, and inside later at night. Magic was selected because of the outdoor and indoor capacity, the beautiful mountain setting, the Black Line Brew Pub’s ability to provide great food and drink, on access road lodging, and even the opportunity to camp out on the hill for those wishing to do so.

It’s another great event which will also draw attention to Magic’s commitment to bring weekly live music to southern Vermont to enjoy at a reasonable price.  Look for more fun and excitement at Magic Mountain. With the new skier-community Magic Partnership capital raise completed last year at about $1MM, this year the Magic team is working on upgrading the snow making sytem over 3 years to improve the snow quality and experience.

This coming season will see expanded offerings as well with the Mountain Sports Club. Premium Mountain Sports Club members will enjoy early season 2 for 1 lift tickets and then a daily $14 a day discount. This brings the always affordable skiing and riding at Magic to only $45 on weekends and $25 on midweek non holidays. Yea great shot of powder to get you stoked on these hot days of summer. Winter is coming.....

Ascutney Mountain in Vermont, Open for skiing/riding in 2010.11???

It appears the recession and other woes may result in Ascutney Mountain in Southern Vermont not opening for skiing and snowboarding this 2010.11 winter. Some phone numbers off the web site are disconnected and we have been unable to reach anyone at the area for quite some time.

Various industry and local media are reporting that the area will not open. We will update as information is available.
