Red Mountain Resort in British Columbia Joins Mountain Sports Club Discount Program for Winter 2016.17

The team at Mountain Sports Club is pleased to welcome Red Mountain Resort in British Columbia, Canada as the newest resort partner for our growing discount lift ticket promotions for Winter 2016.17. This classic resort is one of our staff favorites. The mountain has big mountain feel with over 3,000 sustained vertical fall lines and some of the best tree skiing anywhere.

A trip to Red Mountain should be on the bucket list of any serious skier/rider and powder hound. Abundant cold Kootenay smoke delivers dry powder days for the locals and visitors on a regular basis. Mountain Sports Club members will save $15C off a daily full day lift ticket all season.

Red Mountain Resort also recently started an online funding program where you can own part of the resort. Using non traditional ways to raise capital and fund infrastructure. Now you can own part of the mountain with their campaign " Fight the man. Own the mountain."

Snowing, resorts opening and new offers

We awoke today to a nice white coat of snow. Locals and resorts are relieved as this was our first snowfall here in the Colorado Front Range. It is a very late first snowfall and we have had record warm temps lately that has delayed resort openings and those open with very limited terrain. So now on to winter 2016.17 and powder days ahead. The coming forecast through early December includes more snow and cold with good snow making weather so terrain and conditions will improve rapidly.

Loveland Ski Area is open and reported snowing with more snow and cold temps forecast. Limited Premium plus options including a free day at Loveland Ski Area.

Loveland Ski Area Opens for 2016.17

Loveland Ski Area opened yesterday November 10 for the 2016.17 ski and snowboard season. Unusually warm temps had delayed the expected October opening. With one run covered with mostly man made snow those of us there were impressed with the cover and snow surface.

Night time temps do allow for ongoing snow making and a cold front is due next week bringing natural snow and better temperatures. Look for more terrain to open next week. This weekend there is also a demo day on Saturday for those looking st demo's. Current Mountain Sports Club members Loveland Ski Area discount lift ticket is $45 which is a $14 savings off the window rate of $59 for early season. Join now and save tomorrow and all season. Once logged in print vouchers for each day of skiing and riding.
