on July 14th. The outdoor expanse for larger shows and the intimacy and stage of the Black Line Brew Pub indoors make Magic an exciting new southern Vermont venue for local and regional bands.
Now, the Black Line Brew Pub works hard to bring bands every Friday and Saturday night–almost always with no cover charge! Most recently, it was announced that Tri-Valley Productions will move their Getdown Music Festival from New Hampshire to Magic Mountain and re-name it the Green Mountain Getdown Music Festival. This is a two-day event beginning Friday August 17th at 5pm and going to Saturday August 18th at midnight. There will be at least 12 bands, playing both outside during the day and evening, and inside later at night. Magic was selected because of the outdoor and indoor capacity, the beautiful mountain setting, the Black Line Brew Pub’s ability to provide great food and drink, on access road lodging, and even the opportunity to camp out on the hill for those wishing to do so.
It’s another great event which will also draw attention to Magic’s commitment to bring weekly live music to southern Vermont to enjoy at a reasonable price. Look for more fun and excitement at Magic Mountain. With the new skier-community Magic Partnership capital raise completed last year at about $1MM, this year the Magic team is working on upgrading the snow making sytem over 3 years to improve the snow quality and experience.
This coming season will see expanded offerings as well with the Mountain Sports Club. Premium Mountain Sports Club members will enjoy early season 2 for 1 lift tickets and then a daily $14 a day discount. This brings the always affordable skiing and riding at Magic to only $45 on weekends and $25 on midweek non holidays. Yea great shot of powder to get you stoked on these hot days of summer. Winter is coming.....
