Loveland Ski Area Opens for 2016.17

Loveland Ski Area opened yesterday November 10 for the 2016.17 ski and snowboard season. Unusually warm temps had delayed the expected October opening. With one run covered with mostly man made snow those of us there were impressed with the cover and snow surface.

Night time temps do allow for ongoing snow making and a cold front is due next week bringing natural snow and better temperatures. Look for more terrain to open next week. This weekend there is also a demo day on Saturday for those looking st demo's.
