Camping, Cycling, Rafting Deals and More to Kick Off Summer

This coming weekend officially kicks off the summer season, even though we are still in spring. It is time to make sure you have your bikes tuned, camping gear checked and ready to go. For others it is golfing, rafting, hiking or maybe horseback riding as the activity of choice.

In this difficult economy deals abound and we have juts posted new lodging discounts for those this heading out to travel, the mountains and most any activity.

Here are a few of our early summer and Memorial Day activities to give you a few ideas if you are suffering from brain lock heading into the holiday.

Go river rafting - be sure to check out the rafting and kayak trips and day options for this summer.

An annual Memorial Day group camp trip to Buffalo Creek Campground in Colorado. Home to miles and miles of single track riding for all abilities, as well as hiking and fishing in the area. An easy to get to access from the Colorado front range, it should also be on your must ride list if you are traveling through central Colorado and looking for some great biking.

They are still skiing and riding at Arapahoe Basin, CO; Silver Mountain, ID, Snowbird, Utah and Mammoth Mountain, CA. Go out and enjoy. I know we are going to get a bike ride in, a bar-b-que with friends and a hike as well.
